Emma apparently had an affair with Robert Blair between July 1884 and May 15 1887 which ended abruptly with Robert forcing her to leave the house at Queen Street, Leicester. He soon after married. She soon after had a baby. They soon after had a street brawl and a court case. See accompanying newspaper cuttings. These cuttings and subsequent DNA tests prove that Emma’s daughter Beatrice was actually Robert Blair’s daughter. A fact that was hidden from Beatrice and subsequent generations.
