Emily “married Mr. Mitchell (died 1937), a man a good deal older than herself and she was a widow for many years, living at Lee, south-east London. They had no children. She died suddenly in November 1961. I was told that this was the result of being caught between two trams and crushed (but were there any trams in the London area in 1961?
